Xaloy has the largest screw, barrel, and front-end component design portfolio in the world with more than 25 patents.
We have a cumulative 200+ years of application knowledge from engineers at Xaloy who have solved real world customer problems in injection, blow molding, blown film and sheet extrusion, to name a few. We also have decades of experience helping both OEMs and processors with screw and barrel design issues. We have vast expertise in Screw and Barrel design to help customers with various Plastication needs.
Our team has the technical expertise to handle various manufacturing processes like casting tungsten carbide barrels, tungsten carbide or ceramic coated screws, tri metallic barrels, etc. We can expertly machine various materials like tungsten carbide, tool steel, and specialty metals (Inconel, Hastelloy, etc.). We can cast very small barrels with 16 mm internal diameters to ultra large barrels that can weight up to 15 tons. We are capable of manufacturing screws that are ½ inch to 20+ inches, with complex flight and mixer geometries.
